Did you ever know that it is more blessed to give than to receive? Well, it opposes the economics of the world but that's what the Word of God teaches us. When we give, it is to the Lord, and He never stands as a debtor to anyone. The result is manifold blessings. Whatever is given is done whole heartedly and cheerfully to glorify the Lord. Hence it is an act of Worship.

1 Corinthians 16:2 : On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper.

2 Corinthians 9:7 : So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
